Junior Curling Bonspiels – Building Skills and Friendships

Bonspiels are a fantastic way for young curlers to gain valuable tournament experience while meeting and competing with other junior players from clubs across Minnesota and beyond. We encourage SubZero athletes to form teams and register for bonspiels throughout the season—not only with fellow SubZero members, but also with juniors from other clubs.

Each year, SubZero typically participates as a club in three main bonspiels, including the Golden Broom and the Minnesota High School State Bonspiel. Outside of those, we love to see our players mixing and matching teams.

We understand that curlers have different goals, from enjoying local competition to pursuing national-level play. By playing with a variety of teammates, our juniors gain exposure to different styles, grow as athletes, and build lasting relationships across the broader curling community.
