High School Curling

SubZero High School Curling will provide high school athletes who want to succeed at competitive curling with an organization that provides coaching to enhance their curling abilities and connects individuals with other high school curlers to form competitive teams.

SubZero curling promotes healthy minds and bodies both on and off the ice.  High School curlers enhance their physical abilities, improve their leadership skills, critical and strategic thinking, and learn to compete and succeed as part of a team.  SubZero Curling provides a structured environment where experienced junior curlers can become a part of a team, compete and succeed competitively, receive coaching to improve their skills, and be exposed to other curling clubs, other high school curling programs, and the social aspects of curling.

We will offer two levels of curling - Varsity and Junior Varsity.

As a VARSITY curler you will meet the requirements to letter at Chaska or Chanhassen High Schools (we can work with other high schools too). The requirements to compete at the Varsity level include a minimum of 155 hours of curling throughout the season,  compete at the highest level of competition available and be required to attend out of town bonspiels.

The JUNIOR VARSITY program will compete in local bonspiels and will have the opportunity to compete at other bonspiels if they choose.

Registration closes on 10/04/2020 at 11:45 PM
Season Dates: 09/01/2020 to 08/31/2021
